✅ ASSEMBLY
a) Remove the console at the base of the gearbox and lift the boot;
b) Turn the headset inside out, cut the nylon strap holding the knob and forcefully remove it from the plastic adapter;
c) Pull the old adapter upwards with force. Once removed, fit the new adapter. Respect the original position of the adapter axes to have the gear knob direction in the correct direction. It may be necessary to use a rubber-coated hammer to push the adapter all the way in. The plastic is very resistant, and will expand without breaking;
d) Insert the new knob using a new nylon cable tie;
e) Press the new knob firmly onto the new plastic adapter. If you have difficulty, you can use a rubber-coated hammer;
f) Reassemble the headphone frame into its housing
