Easy Installation
Installing the headset is easy thanks to the included components and the advice you find in the images in the gallery. Follow the steps indicated to remove the headset to be replaced and install the newly purchased one.

Disassembly of the Headphone to be replaced
1) Preparation : Make sure the vehicle is turned off and safe.
2) Frame Removal : Use a plastic tool to gently pry up the edge of the frame around the base of the gearbox. Lift the frame up and remove it, taking care not to damage the retaining clips.
3) Disconnecting the plugs : Identify the plugs connected to the gear lights and other electrical components. Carefully disconnect the plugs by gently pulling them.
4) Removing the knob and the cap :
a) Turn the cap inside out, cut the nylon strap holding the knob and forcefully pull it upwards.
b) Lift the boot from the gearbox, unhooking it from the base. Be careful of the fixing hooks to avoid breaking them.

Mounting the new Headset
1) Installing the Headset : Fit the new headset, the white internal ring and the black external frame around the base of the gear shifter, making sure to clip the retaining clips correctly.
2) Installing the Knob : Once the headset and frame are secured, turn the headset over and, from the inside, reassemble the knob, securing it to the headset with a nylon cable tie.
3) Reposition the headset in the correct direction: press the knob on the plastic adapter firmly. If you encounter difficulties, you can use a rubber-coated hammer.
4) Reattach the plugs to their respective positions.
5) Reposition the frame around the gearbox base , ensuring the retaining clips are correctly aligned and secure.

Note: If your bezel is slightly off by a few millimeters, you can refit the old bezel to ensure a perfect fit.
